We know how important it is to gather feedback and views from our residents and businesses, which is why we are launching our Let's Talk Panel, to find out about the issues that matter most to you.

We run various surveys and consultation events throughout the year and we want to make sure that as many people as possible are aware of them. Your opinions matter to us, so by joining the Let's Talk Panel we can make you aware of what's going on and let you know how you can get involved. You can view all of our live surveys and consultations from partner organisations by visiting our Let's Talk surveys webpage.

Taking part is easy. You can get involved as much or as little as you like. You choose what you want to respond to so there's no time commitment. Most of our surveys are online so you can respond from the comfort of your own home at a time that suits you. We will let you know what projects we are working on and how you can get involved and then you can decide if you want to respond.

Many of our consultations are used to help our councillors make key decisions. The results usually accompany a report and our councillors take account of your views before making a final decision. You can view the results of past surveys on our Let's Talk results webpage.

In the future, we also hope to hold coffee mornings and focus group events for our Let's Talk Panel members so we can get you fully involved in some of the projects  we're working on. However, we know how busy people are and so you can choose what you want to get involved with and respond to. A few years ago, we started a recycling focus group which made a real difference to our recycling campaign - providing us with critical comments that influenced our approach.

Our aim is to work side by side with you to make sure that we are delivering services that meet your needs. If you are interested in getting involved, all you need to do is sign up on this page.
