Planning Committee speaker form

Chichester District Council's public speaking scheme for members of the public who wish to address the Planning Committee is published on our website and you are encouraged to read it.

Normally there are limits on the number of speakers allowed in each category. One person each in the Parish, County Council and applicant categories and a maximum of three people in each the of objector and supporter categories. Additional speakers will be put on a reserve list. In exceptional cases, the chairman might choose to allow extra speakers.

If a particular category of speaker is full, you will be notified accordingly. Each person may speak for no more than three minutes; a traffic light timing device is used.
