  1. Introduction
    1. This exemption relates to a property which has been unoccupied since the death of the sole owner/sole freeholder/sole tenancy holder can be exempt from council tax. This exemption ceases six months after probate, if the property becomes occupied, if the property is sold, or if the property is passed to a beneficiary, whichever is the earliest.
