Energy bill support scheme - continuous cruisers

The Energy Bill Support Scheme Alternative Funding - Continuous Cruisers (EBSS AF CC) is launching soon. It is an extension scheme to the previous energy support scheme

Unlike with EBSS AF, delivery of this scheme will not involve local authorities.

The new scheme is for continuous cruisers who have not received last winter's support. This is either from receiving support automatically or by applying.

Taxpayers must live on a boat. They must also have held a:

• Canal & River Trust long-term boat licence without home mooring (continuous cruising) for a minimum of one day between 27 February 2023 and 31 May 2023.

Those eligible will receive a £600 voucher (combining the EBSS AF and AFP payments).
