Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner Election

The Sussex Police & Crime Commissioner election will be taking place on Thursday 2 May 2024.

Brighton & Hove City Council's Returning Officer assumes the role of the Police Area Returning Officer (PARO) for the Sussex police area. If you are considering standing in the PCC election and would like further information, send an email to PARO@brighton-hove.gov.uk

Photographic ID will now need to be provided at the polling station in order to vote at elections. If you do not take an acceptable form of ID to the polling station, you will not be issued with a ballot paper. See our Voter ID web page for more information on voter ID.
