Make a high hedges complaint

  1. Use this form to submit a complaint to the council about a high hedge, under Part 8 of the Anti-social Behaviour Act 2003. The person making the complaint or their representative should complete it.

    Before completing this form, please read the guidance: Planning enforcement.

    The current fee is £300.

    The council will rely upon the information you provide so please make sure it is clear and accurate.

  2. Attempts to resolve the complaint
    1. Please describe what action you have taken to try to settle this matter. Give dates and explain what the result was. You will be able to upload any copies of any letters that you refer to at the end of the form (please have these ready as images, Word or PDF files).
    2. If you have not tried all the above steps, the council might not proceed with your complaint.
