Gatwick airport northern runway consultation

Gatwick Airport held a 12-week statutory public consultation between 9 September and 1 December 2021 on their proposals to routinely operate the northern runway.

Helping to tackle climate change is one of Chichester District Council's key priorities, and so we have objected against this proposal. It's important that we take account of the considerable environmental impact this would have if it went ahead and so the council is in agreement that this is not something we can support.
