Midhurst is a thriving market town with a delightful mix of medieval, Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture. It is also home to Cowdray Park.

There are more than 100 independent shops, cafes and restaurants within Midhurst, many hidden off the main street.  There is everything from fashion to home d├ęcor, both vintage and modern, as well as unique gifts and furniture sourced from all over the globe. There are women's fashion boutiques and jewellers, watch and clock repair specialists. There is an excellent toy shop too.

Alongside a traditional butcher and greengrocers, there are fine delicatessens; an artisan real ale and fine wine shop; locally-made ice cream; and artisan chocolates.

When you've finished shopping make sure you take advantage of the wide array of charming cafes and restaurants and traditional pubs.
