Southbourne Neighbourhood Planning Referendum

On Thursday 25 January 2024 there will be a referendum on a neighbourhood development plan in the Southbourne Parish area.

Residents will be asked the following question;

Do you want Chichester District Council to use the neighbourhood development plan for Southbourne Parish to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area

Last day to registerMidnight, 9 January 2024
Last day to apply for or change a postal vote or postal proxy

5pm, 10 January 2024

Despatch of Postal votes12 January
Last day to apply for an ordinary proxy vote5pm, 17 January 2024
Last day to apply for a voter authority certificate 17 January 2024
Last time to apply for an emergency proxy for work or medical reasons only5pm, 25 January 2024
Polling Day7am-10pm, 25 January 2024

Photographic ID will now need to be provided at the polling station in order to vote at elections. If you do not take an acceptable form of ID to the polling station, you will not be issued with a ballot paper. See our Voter ID web page for more information on voter ID.
