Listed building and conservation area consent
This is needed for works which affect the character or appearance of a Listed Building. It applies to both internal and external works. Listed Building Consents may also be needed for works to buildings and structures within the current or historical grounds of a Listed Building. This may include buildings now under separate ownership. You are advised to contact the Council if you are unsure whether your building is listed.
While the national requirement is for three copies plus the original, we only require two copies of the following form and plans:
- Location Plan 1:1250 or 1:2500
- Block Plan 1:200 or 1:500
- Elevation Plan (for listed building consent) 1:50 or 1:100
- Floor Plan (for listed building consent) 1:50 or 1:100
