Parking

There are 5 City Centre car parks located inside the walls and very close to the central retail area. These car parks are allocated for short term parking for one or two hours.

Parks and grounds maintenance

The grounds maintenance for parks and open spaces is contracted to Chichester Contract Services. Responsibilities include grass and hedge cutting and floral display maintenance.

The Sport and Leisure department is responsible for around 117 acres of land comprising of parks, gardens, ponds, sports pitches, play areas, local nature reserves and open spaces.

The council currently provides 26 public conveniences. The majority of sites are closed at night.

Public transport

The District Council does not have any direct responsibility for public transport but it works with the County Council to bring forward innovative schemes to serve the Rural Area.
