Parking
All pay and display car parks are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can pay at the machines using cash or a parking card, which you can buy at the Car Parks Office. The office is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
- Short-term car park charges apply on Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm.
- Long-term car park charges apply Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm and Saturday, 10am to 4pm.
- Parking is free on Sundays.

Where are the car parks?

- Five city centre car parks are located inside the historic walls, very close to the central shopping area. Here you can park for up to one or two hours.
- There are five long and short-term car parks next to the ring road around Chichester. These are all within a five-minute walk from the Shopping Centre.
- Further from the city centre are three long-term car parks where you can stay for up to four hours.
Pay and Display operates throughout the year at the three car parks in Midhurst, two car parks in Petworth, East Street car park at Selsey and Bosham car park (Bosham Lane, Old Bosham, operated by Chichester Harbour Conservancy).
Seasonal charges apply at the following locations:

- East Wittering, Marine Drive
- East Wittering, Northern Crescent
Many of our car parks have achieved the Safer Car Park Award. These include:

Help points
The blue and white Help Points are a direct connection to us. They provide 24-hour emergency assistance if you are in distress, require help or wish to pass on information. Police officers can be summoned immediately to the scene if required. Avenue de Chartres multi-storey also has a Help Point.
CCTV
All car parks have the CCTV surveillance system. This operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. CCTV cameras have also been installed in the car parks in Midhurst, Petworth, Selsey and Bosham.
Coach/lorry parking
The coach/lorry park is located in Via Ravenna, opposite the Westgate Centre. Coaches can park here between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Saturday, at a cost of £2 (up to two hours) and £5 (more than two hours). At other times, they can park without charge.
Motorcycle parking
Free secured motorcycle parking is available in two areas within Baffins Lane car park.
A free motorcycle parking area has also been provided just inside the entrance to the Cattle Market car park.
Patrolling officers
Patrolling officers work the car parks in Chichester. In addition to issuing parking fines, they also control the use of the parking area and are there to assist if you require information or need help.
