Car washing arrives in Chichester car parkIntroductionCity centre visitors will have an improved service from tomorrow (Friday 4 May) when a car washing service arrives in the Cattle Market car park. The new service will make it convenient for motorists to have their car washed while they shop. Chichester District Council has appointed Park Brite who, with over 30 years of experience, will wash and wax visitor's cars for a small fee. "We're pleased that Park Brite is coming to the Cattle Market car park because it will offer an additional service to city centre visitors," says Cllr John Connor, Cabinet Member for Environment at Chichester District Council. "We looked at various companies to take on this new service. Park Brite has a wealth of experience and was recommended by other local authorities. They use 100% biodegradable products to make sure they care for the environment as well as customers cars. And, they will use significantly less water than someone washing their car at home. If successful, we hope to roll this out to other car parks in the district." Park Brite will charge £5.75 for the full service, which includes a hand wash and wax.
