Cabinet

The Cabinet is the executive arm of the Council. It takes decisions within the plans, strategies and budget approved by the Council.

The Cabinet meets ten times a year.

The Cabinet is chaired by the Leader of the Council.

Full membership is:-

Chairman: Mrs Heather Caird - Leader of the Council and Cabinet Member for Service Provision

Vice-Chairman: Mr Myles Cullen - Deputy Leader of the Council and Cabinet Member for Economy, Property and Tourism

Mr John Connor - Cabinet Member for the Environment and Community Safety

Mr Tony Dignum - Cabinet Member for Finance

Mrs Eileen Lintill - Cabinet Member for Leisure and Wellbeing

Mrs Carol Purnell - Cabinet Member for Planning and Housing

Mr Josef Ransley - Cabinet Member for Corporate Services and Communication
