Customers with disabilities

Concessionary memberships are available for customers with disabilities. Our facilities for people with disabilities include:

• automatic entrance doors
• sunken reception counters
• lift
• ramps
• swimming pool hoist 
• swimming pool steps
• approved fitness equipment
• adapted toilet and changing facilities

The swimming pool changing rooms have extensive hand railings and dedicated disability facilities.

For customers with hearing impairments, induction loops are incorporated into our reception and the Cafe Ravenna serving area. There is also a portable loop available through the Health and Fitness Suite reception.

Visually impaired customers will find tactile markings on the underside of the handrails of the main stairs. Literature is available in large print. Braille is provided on lift buttons and many of the lockers. There is a clear colour contrast on the fitness equipment controls, tactile floor covering on the Fitness Room landing and careful use of lighting/colour contrast to minimise hazards.
