Finding a home

If you are looking for a new home and can't secure the full deposit and mortgage needed to buy a property, you can:

• Apply for the Housing Register.

• Rent privately through a letting agent or find a landlord who will let their property directly to you.

• Request a government loan to purchase a property, or apply for our part buy/part rent scheme. (Please see Affordable housing to buy.)
