Housing financial assistance

The Environmental Housing Team can offer homeowners advice and financial assistance in relation to home improvements or repairs and disabled adaptations.

If you have a disability and need to adapt your home so you can remain independent, you can apply for the Disabled Facilities Grant. 

We also offer two types of Housing Renewal Assistance:

• If your home needs works undertaken to meet the Decent Homes Standard you can apply for a Home Trust Loan. 

• If you have a disability or are over 60 and on a low income, and your property requires low-cost repairs to protect your health and safety, you may be eligible for Hazard Prevention Assistance.
