Celebrate Love Parks Week at Bishop's Palace GardensIntroductionCelebrate one of the Chichester District's best-loved parks - Bishop's Palace Gardens - at a free event during national Love Parks Week. An afternoon of activities for all ages will be held at the gardens in Chichester on Wednesday 25 July from 12pm to 5pm. Activities include:
Entry is free, so bring a picnic and enjoy an afternoon of entertainment and relaxation. Councillor Eileen Lintill, the Chichester District Council's Cabinet Member for Leisure, Wellbeing and Community Services, says: "Bishop's Palace Gardens is one of Chichester's treasures. So come and celebrate the gardens and enjoy the free activities on offer. "Chichester's parks can be enjoyed all year round. They are free to visit and provide opportunities to improve your health, enjoy nature, relax and unwind as well as to play and have fun." Love Parks Week, which runs 21 to 29 July, is a national celebration of green spaces. It aims to encourage people to visit, enjoy and take pride in their local parks.
